24957365Synopsis: A fairly straightforward short story in which two shifters from opposing packs connect and are then separated for years with the Alpha not knowing he has fathered a son.

There is a warning of this being a steamy erotic gay romance however it does not give a specific adult, over 18 warning.

Main characters: Tomer the Alpha and Leonid the Omega.

Narration: The narrator is not a professional actor but he reads fairly well and the book is easy to follow. The story is told in the first person with each chapter being named so I knew whose character was telling the story. The narration was good most of the time although his voice did become rather strange during the dialogue at times. The Leonid character was rather weak sounding which I did find rather off-putting.

Length: This was a short story of sixty-five pages with the narration being just an hour and a half in length.

Price: At £5.77 for such a short time, I consider this to be really quite expensive although when bought with the ebook the cost is reduced to £3.47.

Conclusion: Overall I was not over-impressed with the story and at one point I fell asleep and had to listen to it again. To  me the Omega, Leonid, seemed to do rather a lot of whining so it was no wonder his Alpha left!

I would give this audiobook 5 out of a possible 10.
