Cover Art: It is a boring cover. It has a blue sky with two men on the cover. The men are not looking at each other. They are just pasted there. The lettering is okay but it uses too many different fonts and colors. I found it weird.
Warnings: There is the usual warning about sexual situations. The author devotes a whole page warning readers about mentions of abuse and miscarriage.
Main Characters: Clay and Aiden are still the central characters but they are joined by Clay’s brother’s Wes as a main character. The storyline focuses on Wes and the reader gets to see more of his past life. The three men act as a support system for each other.
Secondary Characters: This episode has a lot minor characters. Most of them are Wes’ children but Aiden’s family and Clay’s employees make an appearance.
Plot: This is the best one so far. Previous episodes have dealt with Clay and Aiden’s relationship. This episode deals with their extended family.
Formatting: This episode continues with the alternating first person narration. The author is a master at this narrative style.
Conflict/Climax: There is a lot of conflict in Angering an Alpha because of Wes and his alpha. There is a lot of tension caused by domestic violence. This conflict is ended but it did not feel resolved. It was more like a resolved for now.
Conclusion: I think that this was the best episode of the series because there was so much there for the reader in terms of drama and conflict.
For all that I give this 9 out of 10 stars.
